Thread Starter | Live level dropping in and out in Pro Tools..
Hello All, I was recording vocals last weekend and had a strange level drop on certain words in the vocals parts. Anything with a little grunt would cause the level to drop right down, then back up again. I know you're all thinking 'compressor" but I tried running it straight into pro tools and it happened again. I swapped my mic, leads, pro tools timeline position and did a hard reboot. The only thing I can think of is my power situation...I'm running a bunch of gear off one outlet...could that cause my problem...am i spiking the voltage? Any suggestions welcome.
