| Lives for gear | Old Freeware VST "Paris Compressor"..Anyone have a link/the file? I used to have this compressor some time back but someones post in the 12 daily used plugins thread got me thinking back to it. Now im unable to find a link to it.

| Don't worry about it. It was nice of you to go to the effort. Just curious what the Paris compressor might sound like -- if it's as funky as the eq it might be worth checking out. Cheers! ![]()

| No ...I own Paris system and now using only as AD DA converters which are IMHO one of the best and again IMO can compete with th e best ..... On the other hand eq is kind of phew and can not compare with Sony , URS , UAD or even Waves eq .... the comp is one of the worst that I have heard and I was never able to produce any good compresion out of them .... I am using them only if artist needs it in his phones ........ Max |

| I agree, I loved my Paris system. I just wish that it had VST/DX support earlier and was kept up. It did sound great! But running it on a 400Mhz P2 sucked.
