pci express converter board by texas instruments

this looks good in theory but I doubt this will fit into a G5 enclosure with some UAD & audio cards on top ?
anybody willing to calculate this up to every millimeter available ;-)

reading further in tech docs from texas instruments, there could be also sort of raiser cards and cheap modification for various vendors - lets hope we can trade in cards very soon for new versions within a affordable amount

very cool, i knew someone would make something like this. of course i wouldn't get it just yet. i would want them to work out the bugs first.

Ya, I saw that picture too, but when I called a supplier that sells the TI XIO2000 they said it was just a chip. I have no idea where the photo of that board came from. Is it just a mock up of what is possible or something? If it IS actually out there, a riser card could work, or cabling to an external box. Worth finding out to me...
