| Imac and logic 7.1 Anyone use this setup? If so how do you regularly max out its cpu or is it quite capable as your main daw? My budget isnt going to stretch to a powermac this time around as ive spent all my money on an Amek desk and Rosetta 800 with firewire card. |

| I do, with an external FW drive for audio and 1gb RAM. Only done five or six projects with 8-10 tracks of mono and stereo audio, but CPU usage monitor was WAY down, all smooth sailing. No maxed-out tests here, but it hardly blinked in the above scenarios. |
