Nuendo? Converting from 48 to 44.1?

Trying to convert tracks that were recorded at 48, but my project is in 44.1.
When i tell it to convert...the audio is all slow sounding....what am I doing wrong?

I need help ASAP!?

That's easy. If you have selected it in "preferences", when you drop 48 Khz files in a 44 Khz (or whatever), Nuendo ask you about copy and/or convert them.

It works straight. Anyway, download iZotope RX demo and use it to convert the files. BTW, RX is a great tool (the sampling conversion is great)

iZotope RX demo won't let me save it.

With Nuendo:
My tracks seem longer than they should be and too slow/low pitched?
I have to be doing something wrong or unchecked somewhere...

if you select "convert and copy" when you import the files they should convert properly. If they still sound off then perhaps you have your sound card "locked" to a certain sample rate. Or you have some preferences you need to adjust maybe? Is this the first time you have tried to import and convert audio files? And also, what is your set-up? (i.e. sound card, OS)

Open audi pool in Newendow, select all 48kHz files, right click on one file, choose "convert files", change sample rate to 44.1, all other attributes keep as they were, choose below "replace files" under options.

If no one knows the CORRECT answer, please don't provide some useless alternatives when there are solutions within the program itself.

This is what you do, sir. If you are importing a file that is 48KHz and you NEED it to go to 44.1Khz, and you don't see the "import options" window pop up when you import the file, here is the solution:

File > Preferences > Editing > Audio > On Import Audio Files > (select) "Open Options Dialog.

Now every time you have a file that you might of had recorded at a friends house or have stem tracks of some sort that are not in 44.1KHz, and window will pop up for now on telling you that you can convert it to 44.1KHz.

You're welcome.
