Thread Starter | Help: DAT tapes into Final Cut Pro ???
Simple, newbie question here. Hopefully. I just finished production on some spec spots and have a bunch of audio recorded onto DAT tapes. I thought I was going to be editing at a post facility, but it looks like I'm Final Cut Pro-ing it on my home computer instead. What do I need to get DAT tapes into FCP? Is it as simple as renting a deck that has a firewire output...? And I just plug it in and it has device control? Or do I need some digital audio card or converter or something to get from the deck to my computer? |
