Cool DAW : how to reduce vibrations ?

Hello,

My DAW is in a room with a drum kit, an upright piano and my bass gear. My son's got a heavy kick foot and when he play the drums I can feel the vibrations where the DAW is located. And since hard drives don't like vibrations that much...

I'm looking for something to put under my computer to dampen the vibrations. Is there an inexpensive material I could use ? Someone told me to use soft rubber hockey pucks, I don't know about that.

i recently read (in livesound mag, i think) about guys using hockey pucks to de-couple loudspeakers from stage vibrations. if it works at all, it might work in your scenario.

also, what about de-coupling the kit from the floor? auralex makes some stage-sorta things for drums or guitar amps.

+ the hockey puck idea is just tooo trash cool to not try....
