Tiger's native audio/midi via ethernet

Has anybody been using the aunetsend/aunetrecieve/aulab functions in OSX Tiger?

Not really sure what it does.

But is it possible to put the netsend on any channel in Logic.
Type in an IP and it transmits in realtime?

It's basically the just like the midi networking except that it sends audio. I think you have to insert the aunetsend on your master DAW on machine 1 and enable aunetrecieve on your host (second DAW or the aulab from the sdk) on a second computer. I haven't used this yet because I don't have tiger installed yet on two machines. I was just wondering if anybody else has tried this and with what degree of success.

Regards

networked midi works beautifully in tiger!

audio works too, but there is latency.

no need to invest in midi interfaces to interface between computers anymore.
