Thread Starter | $500 recording pc build budget-What to get??
I have an case that fits an ATX motherboard(complete with power supply), but I dont know what type of motherboard/processor combo to get for optimal recording.Im also a little torn because I know that a 64 bit os will allow me to run more memory but i have had bad luck trying to record with my Dell 1545 laptop with vista 64 on 4 gigs(I cant get a stable sample rate below 512 ..yuck).Please slutz, I need help! Im also using an M auio ultra interface w/propellerhead record(Ive tried cubase as well, but same results)
