don't know if it's been mentioned before but:

don't change anything visually or stuff and just make it stable as f**k!

please add in and out gain to all your plugins. and change them visually parameter chaining option in stereo operations, so no double fiddling.

channel reset works for all selected channels at once. and a short cut for channel reset.

Wanted to create it myself, but the command was not available for a short cut. But that's maybe Logic 8

What's not stable for you? Logic 9.1.7 is rock solid here with heaps of 3rd party stuff too. (also 64bit)

"Wanted to create it myself, but the command was not available for a short cut. "

Search in Logic's Key Command list for "Reset", and you'll find it... you can assign it to what you want, or have whatever key command you want to use replace an existing key command if you rather want that.

Spectrasonics stuff easily crashes Logic from time to time.

That might be for Logic 9.2. Or Logic 9.5. Or Logic 10. Or some whole new app altogether...
Addictive Drums went from a policy of "absolutely no plans to update to 64 bit, wait for Addictive drums 2" to a great-working 64 bit beta almost overnight, a few weeks ago. Which bears out what you're saying. Logic 10 is coming, and it's going to be 64 bit only, is the smart money.

Melodyne on every channell... REAL TIME Pitch bending ( that you can draw in) on every Audio channell and more intuitive waveform editing. Easier editing in general like pro tools... 64 bit !

Change the look, please. I loathe the gray. How about make it completely customizable visually?

I'd also like to be able to randomize groups in the EXS.
Please, thank you.

Otherwise, Logic is awesome. Love it.

* dedicated 'control room' and headphone/monitor mix functionality

* multi-timbral Vi's that pass along pan/volume automation on individual channels.

* ability to lock SMPTE start time of .mov and quicktime files.

* stereo channels need width as well as pan controls (like Vienna Ensemble Pro, for example)

* ability to move mix-page channels wherever you want without having to resort to the arrange page or environment

* if the environment remains, allow input/output cabling to be ZOOMED so it's not always so dang microscopic

* MIDI I/O ports should be hardware assigned so that they don't re-order every time you reboot based on the order in which they're detected

* make EXS24 multi-timbral so it can load banks of sounds

* bring back Logic 7 file naming (or borrow Final Cut Pro's system) so you can give audio files within a project their own specific file name prefix.

Nope, nada, niet, hayir, nein, no, non, ... it's not there. I haven't found the command I guess it's a Logic 8 thing

Oh, what I would really like is the ability to route channels to more than one bus at the same time. Like in Reaper. Or on a desk, where you just push more group buttons for several destinations at the same time. Could be set up like on a desk too, with a set of toggle buttons on the channels strip. That would rock deeply!!! One destination only is pisspoor and annoying.

Apple, Apple.....do this ^^^^^ do this ^^^^ !!!!!

Obviously you can use multiple sends set to pre/post fader as needed to do additional routing, but it does use up sends.

You can also use multiple Aux channels (in environment) assigned to the same' bus' to set up multiple destinations easy peasy.

Also Logic does already support certain functionality for mixer groups so you can also deal with controlling the mixer in 'blocks' of channels aka groups. The traditional workflow is well defined here but there's potential for speeding up your workflow in several ways using groups.

from the top of my head:
i keep experiencing a bugginess when it comes to aux routings from software instruments. there are mutes and solos when none of the actual mute or solo buttons are engaged on any of my aux channels. i save the session and restart it and it's fine...that kind of stuff.

That full screen feature the apple apps have with lion, also, option to separate windows onto multiple desktops, and I agree with 32-bit, as well as better metering, never been a fan of the way logic "aesthetically pleases" I see it like this; if I'm gonna sit in front of this program for 8-12 hours a day I need to have something pretty to look at. Logic is a grey life sucking boredom pit filled with a lack of colors and grey Pains. Can't complain about the functionibility

I want Logic 10 to be NOT compatible with Logic 9, cause it would burden it too much with old pre-historic code.

I really can't see them ever making it completely customizable. It's just not the "Apple Way".
