How do I export several Battery drum tracks to individual audio tracks?

Is it possible to export several individual drum tracks from Battery to several individual audio tracks at the same time in Cubase SX3? I do not mean the drum bus/mix and I do not mean exporting one track after the other.

Thanks!

I can tell you in Sonar and then maybe you can transfer that to cubase... I'm not a big steinberg user....
The easiest way in Sonar...

Open Battery VST,
You have a MIDI track that feeds battery
If I'm feeling extra frisky I may even have a separate midi track for each drum sound I plan to use but this is not necessary... One midi track for all the different instruments generally works fine
If you do use multiple MIDI tracks, then set each midi track to a differnt midi channel (1-16) and on each channel you can assign a MIDI channel in the cell tab. It defaults to MIDI: OMNI so all midi channels are a go....

Anyway... I can't remember Cubase, but in Sonar there is an audio track needed to actually play the audio from the VST and when you're done you bounce from that audio output track to a new audio track
WELL... Battery has 32 mono outputs possible (Or 16 stereo)....
So I'd just create multiple audio tracks to play back the Battery Audio,
for the input of the audio tracks, it is set by default to Battery Master 1-2 or something like that

Just change it so each tracks input comes from a different Battery output
i.e. Track 1 can be Battery Master 1-2
Track 2 can be battery master 3-4
then in battery, again in the cell tab... In the bottom right there is a little field that displays the output channel.... these channels match the audio inputs on your audio tracks. Just change it so each instrument outputs on a different channel
So when you go to bounce to audio you select all the audio tracks, then select "Bounce to new track" and each audio out will create its own audio track in your DAW
You can even go MPC style and bounce 2 mono percussion elements to 1 stereo track and hard pan each, but then you'd have to bounce to split mono tracks... at least in Sonar....
Maybe that doesn't help you at all... maybe someone who uses Cubase AND Sonar can translate that... I haven't used Cubase in about 2 years

BTW
All multi output VST's work this way... I don't really do this as much with Battery because I use an MPC..... But I do it a lot with Miroslav Philharmonik

Hi buddy,
I don't know if I got you right but multiple audio export at the same time is only possible since CB 5.

Never done this with VSTi“s but this macro works:

Simply write a Macro in Cubase SX or Nuendo with the following elements:

Create Stems:

Edit - Select All

Transport - Locate Selection

Tool - Range Tool

Edit - Select All

Audio - Bounce

Voila! FAST Stem mixes of your audio!

Matti

Edit. not working with virtual instruments, sorry
