Fun with IRQ's...

Hi,
I'm trying to fight off clicks/pops. I have made a list of IRQ's from winxp Device Manager, I beleive this is complete:

GeForce 8600 GTS - 16
IDE Controller - 09
SATA Raid Controller - 20
Network Connections - 21
Delta 1010LT - 16
USB 1 - 23
USB 2 - 17
USB 3 - 18
USB 4 - 16
USB 5 - 17
USB 6 - 23
USB 7 - 22

I guess my problem is the sharing of IRQ 16 between USB, VGA + Audio card, so I should move the 1010 to a neighbouring PCI slot. However, I'm really confused by the numbering, aren't there only 16 IRQ's? Has my computer just numbered them according to a different pattern from 0-15?

As a side note - an interesting 'bodge-it' fix for clicks/pops has been turning off the Multi-Processors option inside of Nuendo (4 Processors: Intel Core2 Quad Q6600 @2.40GHz). Why has doing this worked?

Regards

Update

I moved the 1010LT into a different PCI slot and now here's my new IRQ layout. Not perfect but probably better I imagine. Any thoughts as to the strange ID numbers, or why turning off multi processing in Nuendo has stopped clicks/pops?
