| Upgrading from Tiger to Snow Leopard Guys , I`m upgrading my Mac Pro from Tiger to Snow Leopard - and from Logic 7 to Logic 9. I have bunch of 3rd party plugins and an iLok. What`s the best way to do this? Someone said I should clone the system drive to another xternal drive , and then do a complete clean install. 1. How do I clone the drive ? 2. How do I transfer back what I need to the startup-drive , from the cloned one? 3. Will the other internal drive be affected by the upgrade ? I have many big sample instruments , the samples themselves are on the other drives while the pluginsoftware etc is on the system drive. Will I have to re-install the samples too ? Any other tips , suggestions and warnings are very welcome! Thanks! Thomas |
