You can always take the "scissor" tools and start cuting, and crossfading, and cut , and fade again and............. .

Never heard of somethin'similar - I would love to. I never had grreat luck with the Vocalign - yes, I am one of those going with the scissor..

There are times I use the Vocalign and other times when I use the scissors and cut, lengthen/shorten with AS, crossfade.... This gets it 'close' to the other performance without being a mirror copy....

Yea, a mirror copy has no life to it. Vocals need to be tight but with life. No need for to sound quantized tight by edits (like midi). Thats just not my taste. Sometime the imperfections is what makes the track. I think music no days has taken the imperfections out of music.

anyone ever get an ERROR--File must be shorter than 120 seconds? I've been getting this no matter what the length.

With the standalone Vocaling drag the files in to it instead of browsing, that should do it -if You understand what I mean (My English).

but got some help aswell...
