Thread Starter | AMT8 losing USB connect (L9, Snow Leopard)
In the past if my AMT8 lost USB connection (which makes it revert to RS 422) I could just restart it and it would pick up the USB again. For some reason these days now that I'm on Logic 9 and Snow Leopard, when the connection gets lots it takes some voodoo to get it back. Sometimes it'll take me 15 or 20 minutes of rebooting everything before it finally wakes up and smells the USB. Does anyone know a for sure way to get the AMT8 to switch to USB? My general method is: 1. Reboot AMT8 2. Replug USB cable 3. Restart Logic 4. Reboot Mac Sometimes I go through it three times and when I finally give up and do something else I notice the USB light up. |
