Thread Starter | Would this be an improvement? Hi all! I currently run my Mac with a MOTU 24i/o and I also have an old 2408 mkI that is hooked up for the spdif in and out. Do you think it would be an improvement to get rid of the 24i/o and run an SSL Alphalink into/out of the ADAT on the 2408, or am I best to stick with the 24i/o? Any opinions are greatly appreciated. thanks |

 | It will be a VAST improvement! Sonically, the Alphalink is in a totally different sphere. Definitely a worthy upgrade, since you can can still upgrade to a different computer interface like a Raydat or even HDSPe via MADI. You should buy the MADI AX for best future compatibility.
