Anyone having trouble with the "Synth basses"in Trillian?

Hey guys,

I’m having trouble loading the “synth basses” in Trillian. I also have Trilogy installed at the same time as Trillian on my PC. I have not had any problems running Trillian, except I can’t get anything to show in the lower left mini box where your list of basses are for just the "synth basses". Acoustic and Electric are fine. Here’s what I did:
1. Installed Trillian on my external hard rive (g drive) with Omnisphere in the STEAM folder. I noticed that when going to Trillian disc 2-5, the installation disc pointed to the C: drive/spectrasonics. Or something like that. But I switched it to the original installation on my external (g drive)
2. Then I authorized Trillian
3. Then I did all the updates
4. Then I opened Trillian in Live.
No problem after that, Trillian works with the electric and acoustic bass stuff, but I don’t see the synth basses patches. When I click synth bass I see “default” only and no list of synth basses. At times I do see “Triology Synth Demo Bank”. When I click Synth bass- default I get a message that says “cannot open multi G:/spectra Sonics/STEAM/trillian/settings library/multis.user/synth bass/default.mlt_trl” Again, I placed my spectasonics Omni sphere and trillian libraries on an external hard drive (g drive). I did not move anything. The second thing I did was uninstall Omnisphere. I just wanted to try it… I get the same problem. So now I have neither Omnisphere and Trillian installed. Triology still is though. So I now I wanted to reinstall Trillian (Trilogy still on PC) fresh on my external hard drive. Any ideas on what the problem might be. How do I get to synth basses in Trillian. I did get it once when I was having trouble, but I don’t know how I did it. I still can’t get the synth basses to show up in the Trillian browser. Any help is appreciated… Below is info on my set-up:

Vista 64 bit SP 1
4 GB RAM
2.4 Ghz

fwiw I do not think there is anything wrong with your install,if i understand correctly the synth bass presets will be included in an update very soon, they didn't want to delay the release again ,so they released Trilian without the Synth bass presets.

Maybe this helps too.

just got a new hd for my imac and after reading that all the presets of trilogy would be included in trilian update aswell i thought i could just install the update...which i think didnt work out as i wanted.

after installation trilian was working fine...but had to install the synth patches and update at first.

but now i recognize that all the presets of trilogy (like the deep & warm basses) are missing.

so i tried installing trilogy again but still trilian doesn recon the old trilogy presets by itself.

is there a way to put the old trilogy presets into a folder of trilian so it can simply use it...or maybe theres a patch!?

really dont wanna install trilian again as it is really takin A WHILE

cheers!

btw i´m on an imac 2,1 ghz 3b ram 500gb hd

The Trilogy synthpatches will be a free download that is supposed to be available sometime this month.
For now there are 500 new synthbass patches in the current version of the Trilian patchlib.
Draggin the old Trilogy patches into Trilian doesnt work as the dataformat is totally different.

thx for the answer!

hope the patch comes very soon...though i´m impressed by the sounds of the acoustic and electric basses....i dont really need them for my productions.

and i´m not very positive about trilian so far. expected way more of that update...

lets see what comes

Trilogy synthbasses were cool but i find the new synthpatches to be even cooler thanks to the more advanced filters and effects in Trilian.
