Which Logic VI's and Effects kick the **** out of anything out there?

I don't know if there are any that dfegad on EVERYTHING else in the market, but it's certainly a great collection. Everything you need and basically not a bad plug in the bunch. They were kind of the first to do that. Now everyone is doing it, but I think Logic is still head and shoulders above the rest in the stock-ware department. I've mixed many projects entirely with Logic's stock plug-ins.

None of them are better than the best 3rd party options. Although the Clav is quite unique. SoundToys and UAD and Reverberate and Altiverb/Speakerphone and Alloy and Kontakt and a bunch of others all outclass what is there. But for $500 all-in it's an absolutely awesome collection and if I had to only use those plugins I would be able to work happily enough.

I find the Logic plugs to have a kind of dark sound, anyone agree? Are they using antialiasing filters? I guess I could check.

It is pretty amazing what you can do with Logic's built in stuff. I haven't gotten around to getting the fancier plugins yet, but I've managed to get some good results with what Logic gives me to work with. You can't really ask for more, especially given the price of it all.
