I'm sure they will be.

What host app are you running -- or was that the standalone?

It's a bit preliminary to be pinning blame -- or even to necessarily assume that one non-functioning installation signals they will all fail -- but I noted that it was the 3rd party sector that pushed MS hard to rush the release of Vista (of which I was no big fan, neither here nor there) and then were themselves largely not ready with stable, Vista-ready drivers. (MS shares some blame there, too, of course, since they were changing the feature set [mostly simply removing stuff] perilously close to the release date. But many 3rd parties [but probably not FXpansin, mind you] driven by a desire to churn the market and drive new sales but then not, themselves, ready, deserve special opprobrium, seems to me.)

The chorus is a little weak... I think it needs more lasers.

BFD2 Win 7 64bit ProTools 8.0.5 crash FIXED!

BFD2 was working fine in standalone, but when I would enter Pro Tools, it would ask for the data paths again and then crash. After searching the web and fiddling around for 2 weeks I finally woke up to the answer of running BFD2 on Pro Tools without the crashing.

FIX:
1: Go to your BFD2 FOLDER (( C:\Program Files (x86)\FXpansion\BFD2 ))
2: Right click over the BFD2 (.exe) icon and go down to PROPERTIES
3: Click on the COMPATABILITY tab
4: Click the check box on to "Run this program in compatability mode for" Windows XP (Service Pack 3)
5: Bottom corner "Ok" and you`re set to go!!

Enjoy!

It works fine with standalone, but unless you have version 2.3.x, it crashes when you run Pro Tools 8.0.5 on Win7 64bit
