Final Plug 5 "playing around"

any particular one you like? I don't really like a lot of limiting... so i was playing around with final plug...

1. plain premastered with waves plat. http://www.musicrowsongs.com/allFINAL.mp3

2. run through finalplug5 -2.5 http://www.musicrowsongs.com/testfinalplug.mp3

3. run through finalplug5 -6.0 http://www.musicrowsongs.com/testfinalplug2.mp3

links 2 and 3 are BROKEN.

#2 sounds good.
the vocal and solo comes out real well with that level of limiting

#3 sounds like FM Radio. bleh. dfegad
personally, i don't like that level of limiting on vocal styles of music.
for dance music it works really well, country? mmmm no.
if you really wanted to pump it, Multi Dynamics would be a better solution. Another solution would be bussing the drums and bass to their own single FinalPlug for heavy limiting, and then the whole stereo mix to a FinalPlug for light limiting would be the way i would go.

I'm really digging this new version of FinalPlug. The auto release was just what FP needed.

its an extremely fair priced alternative to Waves L3 Ultramaximizer.
