Thread Starter | sdram and new motherboards YAY i'm finally going to upgrade my 2track system from a celeron 400.. I have 512 megs of sdram, but i've seen all the new boards talk about ddr ram. Would i beable to use my current ram with the new motherbords or do i HAVE to get the ddr ram? Marsh |

| FYI, DDR ram is 184 pin and SDRAM is 168 pin, so you can't use one in place of the other. DDR is cheap too, especially compared to RDRAM ![]() Good luck on your new box! |
