sdram and new motherboards

YAY

i'm finally going to upgrade my 2track system from a celeron 400..

I have 512 megs of sdram, but i've seen all the new boards talk about ddr ram.
Would i beable to use my current ram with the new motherbords or do i HAVE to get the ddr ram?

I don't think you can

I couldn't in my mac, the boards have the little groove in the wrong place

FYI, DDR ram is 184 pin and SDRAM is 168 pin, so you can't use one in place of the other.

DDR is cheap too, especially compared to RDRAM

Supports both so you can upgrade to DDR sdram later.
