Apogee Duet audio drops out in Logic.

I'll be working on a song and the audio just randomly drops out in Logic. I have to reset the audio driver buffer to get sound again. It happens all the time now. Think this is a Logic 9 issue or Apogee Duet issue?

I have the same issue. It only seems to happen after I start getting close to the limits of my system, or maybe just with certain plugins... I didn't have this issue with Logic 8 on Leopard, but now I get it all the time on 9 / Snow Leo. When the issue happens for me I have to reset the Duet, or everything that comes out of it will be distorted (even outside Logic), or I'll get no sound. On occasion I will also get an error about a sample rate mismatch, which is also a new error for me...

I've updated my drivers to the latest, and I have the update to Logic 9... Neither fixed it.

Has anyone figured this one out? I've been having this problem constantly, and it's driving me crazy!

hi there,
its an probably a power issue. i ran it with a lacie, also a bus powered drive plus a usb keyboard (buspowered as well). always ah this drop outs.
than i put a power supply to the lacie and never had a dropout since then!

Do you have a ps3 attached? Sometimes if you watch a movie, the rate can change to 48 by itself. I would just make sure it's on 44.1 and go from there.
