Pro Tools 8 - How to cut/copy MIDI notes to exact same location from track to track?

OK, so I'm mocking up a 30-minute piece which contains reams of MIDI data. I'm basically trying to break the MIDI regions up into chunks that I can subsequently arrange/audition to different instruments, but, of course, keeping them all in their original time locations. Most of the data is quantized to the grid, so what I've been mostly doing is to cut/copy and paste, using the grid as a reference.

However, there are a number of notes/phrases which are not quantized, and I don't know how to move those. I don't have any Pro Tools manuals, and I don't know how to phrase this question in a manner that I can Google it; that's why I'm asking here. I dunno, is there a shortcut to simply move the cursor to the next/previous track without changing its time location at all (you know, so I can cut/copy a region, move down instantly, then paste without the cursor moving left or right)? Or is there some other technique or shortcut?

As always, your help is greatly appreciated.

If you're in keyboard commands focus mode hit "P" or ";" to move the cursor/selection either up or down.

Switch to region view and move them as if they're blocks of audio.

Or switch to relative grid and alt drag the notes.
