Weird Problem With Guitar Rig

Weird Problem With Guitar Rig
System: dual 2.5 G5, 8 gig ram, OSX 10.42, protools 6.9.3cs1, and newest updates for guitar rig.

Problem: After recording a pass of guitar, it takes guitar rig approx. 3.5 seconds to actually playback what is recorded. The first 3.5 seconds is the DI'ed guitar with no EFFECTS. This only happens when the rig kontrol is being used. This occurs regardless of playback buffer,cpu usage, or DAE playback engine. No internal settings change the amount of delay.

Anyone got any ideas? I'm really stumped on this one.
