Thread Starter | Midi Echo back (double trigger or latency issue?) in Ableton
Using Ableton 7 with a Novation SLremote Compact25 to trigger midi input. Midi seems to echo back on whatever softsynth or sample Im triggering. Set Live7 to recieve/send proper channels as explained by SLremote25 setup guide, triggers properly, but getting this echoback/phasing. Cant tell if this is common and easily corrected with the audio latency controls in ableton (and hence, not a midi problem?) or if it has to do with settings in the novation controller (omni/local switches, etc.). Your input much appreciated, including what you have your midi ports set to in Live preferences (even if you dont use an SLremote25), Thanx! thumbsup |
