Pops and Cracks

I am using Logic Pro 8
Sending a snare out on a bus (B13)
My aux receives the signal
My output of my aux is 7-8(My Preamp)
My preamp shows the snare hitting it
I then create a input track, the input is from the AES/EBU on my Motu 896
When I monitor it, all I hear is cracks and pops, and it doesnt even respond to all the snare hits constantly.


My output 5 from my Motu 896 feeds the preamp.
The output of the preamp feeds the Aes on my Motu896??

Why am I getting pops and cracks? I dont even hear the wet snare.
And why does the input not reflex all snare hits?
