Anybody have issues with Amplitube 2? I get SERIOUS memory leak problems in 7/8/9 that require a restart with the thing.

If that's true that really sucks. Apple's site search engine is the WORST on the interwebs so it would take forever to find answers anyway. I wonder if 64bit is gonna fix memory leaks or if it will just suck up every meg of ram in your system, rather than just 4 gigs.

I guess that's the proper term for what we're looking at with Logic 9: Memory leaks.

Memory leak - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

"A memory leak or leakage in computer science is a particular type of memory consumption by a computer program where the program is unable to release memory it has acquired. A memory leak has symptoms similar to a number of other problems (see below) and generally can only be diagnosed by a programmer with access to the program source code; however, many people refer to any unwanted increase in memory usage as a memory leak, even if this is not strictly accurate.

A memory leak can diminish the performance of the computer by reducing the amount of available memory. Eventually, in the worst case, too much of the available memory may become allocated and all or part of the system or device stops working correctly, the application fails, or the system slows down unacceptably due to thrashing."

I've heard of memory leaks before, but only in connection with freeware/shareware, not big-name apps.

Oh brother.

Make sure you have the newest version (can be downloaded from your User Area on our site) and if that doesn't help please log a support ticket. They'll get you sorted out.
