Thread Starter | logic 9 flex bug deletes ALL your music, omg! i'm having trouble now making videos from screen capture after updating finalcut (ffs), but i have videod this bug several times and can 100% reproduce it every time. when you go to edit transient markers in sample edit window with flex switched on, suddenly all your music disappears and all that remains on the arrange-page is a single region called 'automation' once that happens you cant get the arrangement back, it is all gone forever brilliant!! i'll try and get the video up of this bug, but as i say apple have screwed my workflow totaly by updating finalcut anyone else seen this bug?, cos it's a mega one |

| upload the video to hotfile.com is this only affected if you have FCS3 on your system? or just a bug of logic 9 alltogether. when logic 8 came out.. how long did it take for the first .01 update to come out? |

| This may not help...but I have inadvertently packed all of my arrange into a folder by mistake and it LOOKS like everything is gone. See if that happened.

Thread Starter | ya i been busy with yet another fecking bug which i think fcs added. dammit i'll check what u said, but no i dont think it was what u said. anyways after messing with flex for a few days - no manual of course - i think apple seriously missed a few tricks with flex - mebbe updates will add thiongs but as u use it you think "If only they did this or that or the other" the biggest goof imo is that they made it so that Flex markers CANNOT quantise, but transient markers CAN, how bloody stupid is that?, lol You can do some wicked tricks with quantise and transient markers, BUT they have not made it so those tricks can be done quickly and easily. i've been doing some wicked stu-tter-fx but it takes time to setup when it could be so easy if they added a few things they should have added: 1. flex markers can be quantised 2. flex markers can be added across a region at any quantise value in one move but they didnt... booo!!! i have found a fix for the video bug i seem to have added with fcs - well not a fix, it's a poxy workaround, so i can wack up some more video soon anyways and show u |
