I love pro tools and think almost every other pro loves it to or even home recordist but the main problem that i have with pro tools is it crashing. It does not happen like every day but around every other week. You know that unresponsive message you get(crashes). Well i get that on certain sessions. Some people say if your plugins are out of date that may happen but my waves ssl+api plugins work in reason and ableton live. So when that happens i have to open a backup session and that always works but a good take may not be in there anybody else with that problem??

make sure you have auto backup on every 2 minutes, so you can easely go back to your last moves unless it happens during tracking then your screwed also make sure you have a fully compatible system and do all the tweaks and troubleshoots if it still happens thank Digi for it or post a sisandra report on the DUC. Some plug ins can make it crash as well without warning, like the IK multimedia's and poorly made free vst's you might have wrapped.
