One of the hottest ones that is SOOOOO underrated is Cakewalk Rapture

Also All the Native instrument (FM8, Absynth, Massive) stuff has been done A LOT in R&B...

For string samples Vienna is the best but way overpriced.... EWQLSO is good too and for the budget conscious IK Miroslav Philharmonik is a great little VST

Omnisphere is sounding pretty good these days....

Cakewalk Sonar PE also comes with one called Pentagon from RGCAudio and I love it

The Arturia CS80 and ARP2600 are really good ones also.. and you get quite a bit of control and a ton of presets if you don't wanna fool with the controls...

I ike the Emu sounds a lot, not all of them but for the price the Mo'pHatt and the 2000 series are really hot if you ask me ( 69$ ).

SoundFonts : Digital Sound Factory

The free edition Proteus VX as alot of classic sounds ( synth and sampled drums )

Free Sound Collection : Digital Sound Factory

I know it does not really matter but how could they make a vst that looks like this.. ??!! Common.......I must say that I will pass on it just because of the way it looks. I know it sounds good but so does example B,C and D.
