Logic 8 Bug? Does this happen to you?

Has anyone else experienced Logic "secretly" changing some of the preferences, settings and key commands? It happened to me twice after some big crashes from heavy sessions. All of a sudden things don't work the same- the "Software Monitoring" check box is unchecked, "C" starts toggling my metronome instead of the cycle (after I set it and used it that way for months), and a lot of other mysterious things change...

Any ideas why this is happening?

ALSO- does anyone know why my Arrange window solo and mute buttons started functioning independently of my mixer and inspector???
I mute a track in the arrange window, but the mute button on it's channel strip doesn't show it's muted (even though you can't hear the track anymore). It happened to me once before and I can't remember how I solved it. I think it's some setting you can change somewhere.

HELP!

Thanks!

Probably the Logic preferences get corrupted during the crash. You should always keep a backup of your working prefs on another drive.

It is in your User library and is named com.apple.logic.pro.plist

Re: the solo behavior, it is in the preferences>audio> general. The behavior you are seeing is with CPU-saving (slower) so change it to Faster (remote channel strips) and it will be consistent.

Personally, I would rather they be independent.

That just gave me an idea! Both my roommates also use Logic. I'm going to start randomly changing key commands just to boggle them!
