DAE Error 9060

Does anyone know anything about this kind of error ? It occurs at the same exact position every single. When I restart it´s gone though, but it still annoys me.

Thanks for any suggestions,
Bill

there's a few thing its could be but based on your description of it happening in the same spot every time it's probably a corrupt audio file or fade. close the session and trash your fades folder and let PT recreate them when you reopen. if that's not it then it's most likely an audio file. deactivate all your tracks and reactivate them 1 by 1 and play from the trouble spot. if it hangs after opening a particular track you have your culprit.

I remember a strange discussion on a nother forum witch comes to mind now.

They didn't solved the problem, but one of them thought it has something to do with a defect cluster on your harddrive. Everytime PT reads from the killed cluster, it hangs up and shows this error. (same phenomena occurs in Cubase 3.7 to 5.1 and SX1 without showing an errormessage).

Thanks for your help. As most of the time when this happens, it stopped after restarting my computer.

Nice link as well, djui5 ! I gotta check my HD soon.

Cheers,
Bill
