Where is my good ol' finder player in Leopard?

u know, the little player that appeared in the finder to be able to preview or play audio or movie files. now in leopard its a black square with a music symbol (two 8th notes) and you press play. the problem is i cant fast forward or rewind the file i am playing.

is there a way to change it?

i couldnt find anything .

or how do you do to preview audio files in the finder and be able to select song position.
i dont wanna open itunes nor QT for this stupid thing. specially if i am previewing many files at one time and fast. i dont waana clutter itunes with songs nor clutter my screan with QT player.

Click on the file that you want to preview, then press the space bar. The file will begin to play. You can then drag the scrolling ball in the time bar located near the bottom of the preview window.
