Pro-Tools 8 Playback Issue

Hey,

I'm having quite a weird playback issue in protools (initially 7.4 but upgraded to 8 with no luck). When playing through a mix, my vocal track seems to just go out of phase for no reason. When I stop playback and resume it at the location of phasing, it is fine!.. If its an issue with a high latency plug-in (suspecting Auto Tune).. is there any way I can compensate for this?

I am operating an Mbox 2, I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling Pro-Tools as well as Mbox firmware to no success.

I'm sorry if this soudns vague.. it's quite hard to explain what the problem is.

Try rendering your track after tuning it, and then see if the problem persists. Don't know about Auto-tune, but Melodyne is really a standalone app, and the plugin is just a convenience. Really, it should be run once to clean up the track and then turned off.
