Pro Tools question -- Blank space at the end of tracks

I am almost embarassed to ask this question, but after trying to figure it out for way too long on my own I figured it was time to seek help.

I do a lot of MIDI work, and generally pull sections of MIDI information away from the song so I have access to those parts if I want them later. The problem is, this extends the length of the song to where ever that location at the end of the track is.

My question is, how do I select the correct end time for the track so it ends when the last note finishes?

switch to regions view and delete blank space should do it.
