Why Won't Digi / Avid make a Mastering App?

When will Digidesign come out with something like Waveburner?

I like prootools. I dont want to buy Logic just to have Waveburner.

I prefer to send out projects for mastering.
But there are times when I need to assemble a demo or whatever and need a waveburner type program.

I spent for my rtas plugs.
I wish digi would do a toast/waveburner app that I could use them in.

Why don't you process in Pro Tools and then drop your files into Sonic PMCD? I use Sequoia on the home system, but for roughs when I'm out, I keep PMCD on my laptop. Works great.
