RMX midi track is recording on any audio track in Cubase?

Hey guys

i just switched to a mac, and installed C5 on it. got most of it all working but this weird thing happened last night

i just bought RMX and broke it out to all channels on the VST inst bar. i picked a loop and dragged it to the midi track, and repeated it for 40 x's to fill out the song (about 2:51)

then i went to my audio track 1, armed it for my POD input, have signal, normal stuff

as soon as i hit record the drum track from the RMX midi starts recording on my audio track!

i tried it on different audio tracks all set ti INPUT POD, Output ST L/R like normal and they all start recording the RMX midi track??

did i miss a setting somewhere??

the RMX is set up for ALL MIDI INPUTS, RMX output. which is how i used to have it in C4 on a PC

anyway, can anyone help me so i can start recording again using RMX??

thanks
