I do Industrial/Electro Rock alot too... In Logic try Virsyn's Tera.... Doesn't run in ProTools, but works under VST and Audio unit in Logic.
Tera has alot of the qualities of a Waldorf, so its great for really nasty overdriven melody lines (like Reznor) or for Deep pulsing Riffs and Tones (Like Jeff Turzo from GLU).
If you dont have Reaktor yet.. get that.. its a sonic playground for noise and strangeness.....

You may want to get Keith Hillebrandt's Useful Noise v2 EXS24/REX sample CD too.... loads of beds and hits that are custom made to get Industrial tracks happening...

Hope this helps.

Talking

There are many more synths.

Absynth - just brilliant.

ES1, ES2, (both fantastic) Giga Sampler (best sampler ever made), Virus (briliant), Cronox 2, D'Cota (brilliant)
daHornet, lm7, Exciton, Juno X2, Rhino (briliant) TauPro, VAZ

and many others.

IMHO every one needs now two machines. One MAC with PT or Logic.

Second could be even laptop with all these, digitally connected
with right digital sound card.

These synths are as good as hardware or bette and they coming and coming and......

Era of hardware synths is I think over.

Latency 5 ms is fully acceptable for recordings.

For live gigs maybe not good enough as yet but one more year or the next synth...

FWIW

Cheers...
