Plugins for Duende?

Do anyone have experience with the vocalstrip, any good?

I really enjoyed the demo period, but I can't see spending $400 on it. I can get close enough with the channel strip and X-EQ (if necessary). I love the character of the vocal strip compressor, though.. absolutely wonderful for slamming backing vocals.

agree with rob C in general... wish the comp/saturation was available in the channel strip or something

i have all the duende plugins, and this basically is a bit of a compromise, i went back to using X-EQ and native (PSP or stillwell rocket) compressors... with better results

it's cool for backing vox, for sure.

oh and finally, the HP filter is really nice...

I think the de-esser in the vocal strip is excellent. Also the HP-filter and the comp in particular. The plosive filter I never use.

I wish it had a more elaborate eq section but I tend to end up using it in conjunction with the channelstrip anyway (I like daisy-chained compressing).

I really wouldn't want to be without any of them. If I HAD to chose, obviously the channelstrip is more flexible - great on almost anything if you like that kind of sound.
