Best Drum Plug for punch

I'm wondering what you guys like for drums in parrallel mode. I have the Sonnox stuff... not bad... also the stuff from PT HD..... I used the Metric Halo strip years ago ITB and got a nice snap. I'm hearing good things about the Massey CT4 and am going to try the Ozone 3 on the drum bus. Any ideas would be helpful. Thanks,
Tim

After trying a bunch of different things over the last few years for parallel, these days I like to use the Massey CT4 (occasionally with the UAD SPL Transient Designer where required)

+ on the Api 2500 and also the G-stereo mastercomp from the SSL... Slam/punch the sh*t out of your drums. The api is more rounder and sluggish. Combine these 2 and hell men WALL of drums.

Just tried some parallel comp on drums with a few different plugs. The free one from SSL is fun and good for the price. Better (and different), I'd say is the Rough Rider from Audio Damage...amazing plug for free. Another in that category is the Stillwell Rocket. My favorite of late, though, is the Abbey Road 12413...just a little something extra I love. UAD 88rs is great, also.

So many plugs, so little time!

api 2500, tbk 2/3 in parallel, uad 1176, uad vcu are a few that i love. i love the rocket but i won't wrap properly in pt, so for other daws, yeah, but for pt, at least for me, n/a. almost forgot, uad fairchild can be cool as well.

OK.. so maybe these cartoons are playing games with my ears but....
I downloaded the CT4 demo and the Chandler. They both add attack...and tighten up drums...compared to my oxford...which at this point... sounds like it collapses....and makes the signal more 2D.... anyone... am I on crack.....
