MIDI NOTES FROM TRANSIENTS?

anyone know of an app that will generate midi notes from transients.

i know drumagog does this but i have to route drumagog out to a midi device
and back in to record the midi note.... this isn't as precise as i would
like.

i think digital performer makes midi notes out of transients in its new
"beat detective" type algo.

does nuendo 3 or SX 3 do this?... generate midi notes from there "bd" algo... everyone gots one now ya know.

or is there any other obscure application that i could use to generate midi
notes from transients?

thanks ya'll

I am demo-ing tassmans "extractor".... which claims to do this.

it seems to be a sophisticated plug-in.... but i can't get it to do what they say it will do.

it is creating midi notes that don't even reach the gate threshold. that seems pretty useless.... even drumagog can get that right.

maybe someone else can get it to work.

Send a message via ICQ to Mario-C.
Digital performer can do that, use the trigger plug in and you're set

Recycle does that .It cuts audiofiles based on transient detection and then you can export SF2 file which contains all single sliced regions, and it exports MIDI file which you then import in cubase or whutever .Now you got one midi note for every transient start ....
