eventide fw into fireface800?

building a new audio pc and wondering if the fireface 800 recognizes firewire audio inputs...

i'll be using the ff800, but also have an H8000FW (and since pc's don't allow multiple ASIO sources) wondering if you can run the firewire audio out from the eventide into the firewire input of the ff800 and have the eventide audio show up in the RME mixer?

or if the firewire in's on the RME are only good for daisy chaining other firefaces

has anone tried this ?

i suppose the ADAT connections are a second connection possiblity
