Audiofire 2

I just got mine in along with an expresscard firewire adapter and its working great! Hardly any configuring at all. Didnt have to change any settings to compensate for anything. I am so glad I went with Firewire instead of USB.
This Expresscard does seem a bit flimsy though. Anyone else have one that can confirm if theirs is constructed in a similar fashion?
One other thing I noticed which took me by surprise is an additional amount of bass and punch is now present. I was not hearing this before when running thru my Delta 44. Can anyone else confirm this as well? Its especially surprising because my BM5A's are not known for their bass but now all of a sudden I am hearing alot more bass thru them on everything.

Another thing I've noticed with the Audiofire 2 is when I crank the volume on my mixer I start getting alot of high pitched sounds and static. I dont remember this being the case with my delta 44. Is there some kinda interferance going on here? As soon as I unplug the Expresscard Firewire adaptor the sounds go away. Granted this is with my mixer very very loud but still has me wondering whats going on. Anyone know whats up with this?
