They're very efficient in my experience, i can run tons of them. I'm not on a PC tho, but i bet you sure can run rather some too thumbsup

If you've an iLok around, you can always try the demo and see.

I ran a test after downloading the demo, and on my AMD64 laptop I can get the following results:

45 N series with all bands on, and the cpu hits 50%.
47 A Series with all bands on, and the cpu hits 50%.

The CPU efficiency of these plugs really interest me as most other good soundig eq's are real CPU hogs IME.

Has anyone bought their plugs through the rental policy?
I wish all gear had such a policy

Is that 45 N Series AND 47 A Series or 45 of one and 47 of the other? I suspect 92 instances is too much to ask for. Either way it's plenty for me. If I do need that many I probably should have miced it better to begin with!

Hmmm... My Athlon 3200XP+ can handle 65 of each at the same time @ 88% CPU load.

I did say I stopped when the CPU meter was at 50%. So, I'm sure I could get more.
So, according to calculations, i should eb able to get 72 at 80%.

I checked it, and at 85% I get 96 instances of the N series.
