PC Audiofire8 (or 12 I guess) users chime in please

Just a quickie -- do you find that when you launch the Echo mixer in Win XP, that it starts way over on the left, with just enough of the toolbar hanging over allowing you to grab it and move it to a more central locale? (I'm not running a multi-monitor setup, btw.)

Yes,
Very Occassionally. Although at least once it was so far over that I couldn't grab it to drag it back. Solution - lower the resolution temporarily while you drag it back....

Apart from that I have had no problems whatsoever with it in several years of use (once the Windows XP firewire patch was installed that is)

Hmm. I might drop Echo a line about this.

Yeah, it's such a silly little thing, and other than that everything's been 100% rock solid and just generally brilliant.

no issues here with the audiofire12... they do have more jitter from my experience than my old echo layla 20's (PCI based). i've found both firewire converters i've used to have more jitter though.
