Nuendo on Windows XP via Boot Camp, Sudden stops

Hi all,

I recently installed Boot Camp on my MacBook Pro (Penryn) 2.4GHz, 4GB RAM. I then installed Windows XP SP2 and also Nuendo 3 on XP side. I am using a MBox2 Mini as my hardware interface for Nuendo.

Everything works fine... except when I am recording, every now and then the audio will suddenly stop for a second and come back (thus screwing up sync with the click).

I figured it may be due to spikes in memory usage, so I used a latency checker tool:

DPC Latency Checker

and tried disabling devices in the device manager. I also turned off the wireless function on the computer.

But somehow these sudden stops still occur.

Any help would be appreciated!

Thx
