Need urgent Help with Pro Tools Audiosuite Plug-in Processing Problem

If anyone could help me with this, I would be so very grateful.

The Problem:

I've got my stereo mix mixed down to a single stereo track and in the Audio Regions list, it shows up as a stereo audio file with the little sideways triangle at the left. All is cool so far.

Now, what I want to do is process this "final mix" stereo audio file using the stereo version of the audiosuite Waves L1+ Ultramaximizer to create my final master audio file. I use audiosuite to process because it sounds much better than a bounce to disk or bussing and recording the audio to another stereo track within ProTools.

The problem is, WHEN I PROCESS THE STEREO TRACK USING THE WAVES L1+ ULTRAMAXIMIZER (stereo version), THE STEREO AUDIO FILE GETS DIVIDED INTO TWO MONO FILES, A SEPERATE LEFT AND RIGHT, NOT ONE STEREO FILE.

Beleive me, I have all the parameters of the plug-in set correctly, stereo, not mono and create continuous file, etc.

I need a stereo file after I process my stereo mix with the L1+ because I then export it so that I can burn it to a CD. I don't want to use bounce to disk because it sounds horrible. Export selected as files sound a lot better.

The thing is, I tried doing this on one song and it worked. When I processed with the Waves L1+ audiosuite, it created a stereo file but when I tried the same thing with two other songs it crated two seperate mono files>

What am I doing wrong and what can I do to fix this problem? Any help here would be so awesome thanks.
