Some tidbits you might not find interesting now but may find crucial in 2009: OpenCL gets touted in Texas | Macworld The OpenCL Spec is complete, faster than expected, and this means we may be able to run plugins on commodity graphics cards fully integrated with the OS shortelely. A related note: Mac OS X Snow Leopard (10.6) Due in 1st Quarter of 2009? - Mac Rumors Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) may ship earlier than expected too, which will potentially greatly increase the power of native processing for music apps. Of course Apple's purchase of Logic guarantees they will have a demo in the music space; we wait with baited breath to see how digidesign responds.
