Pro tools Sync - Tempo Problems

Hello guys,

I have been trying to sync tracks from my keyboard to pro tools. Im running 7.4 on mac pro. the tempo on pro tools is quite slow, when i change it it speeds up the track..

What's the proper procedure to get the pro tools tempo fit to the keyboard ?

your help is appreciated, Thanks alot.

yeah...speeding up the tempo in pro tools makes things go faster, that's kind of the point of it!

you've not given any details of what keyboard you're using, how you're syncing the tracks together, which is master etc so if you want help, I'd suggest providing a bit more detail.

Otherwise, as Bryan said it's likely to be a tempo mismatch between sequencer and keyboard. if PT is the master, make it send MTC and then have the keyboard slave to that. Should put you in sync then.
