Brain Puzzle. Why wont this work? (involves logic/ensemble/digimas fs/drawmer 1968)

Right now I have a Apogee ensemble with a digimax fs hooked up through ADAT for 16 channels at 44.1. I have found out how to use drawmer outboard unding the Ensemble for the ins and the outs, but this is a pain in the ass due to the fact that I have 4 outboard pres plugged into the 4 ins 5-8 on the ensemble. I would like to have the ensemble send to the Drawmer out 7-8, which I can get, but when I try to input through the presonus (ins 17-18 ADAT) all I get is a really crazy electronic sound at a low level. What am I doing wrong.????????

Hey man, I have the same setup as you minus the drawmer. I would check the line ins on the digimax fs. My first one was a faulty unit but i got another one that now works fine. Have you tried the line ins on the digimax with other sources?

I tries the line ins on my old firestudio and i got the same thing. Anyone know if it could be Adat
